Dry Needling

Dry needling is now available at APTOR Physical Therapy. This is a treatment technique that uses thin, sterile needles inserted into specific areas of muscle or soft tissue to address tightness, trigger points and movement restrictions.

Your physical therapist may recommend dry needling when muscle tension or sensitive areas are contributing to pain, stiffness or limited movement.

Dry needling may be used to help:

  • Reduce muscle tightness

  • Address trigger points

  • Improve flexibility and range of motion

  • Reduce pain or discomfort

  • Improve movement and muscle function

Dry needling is typically used as part of a broader physical therapy plan and may be combined with therapeutic exercise, stretching, hands-on treatment or movement training.

Start by sharing where you’re experiencing pain or difficulty and how it’s affecting your daily activities. We’ll evaluate your needs and develop an appropriate plan to help you move forward. Most insurances accepted.
